WHAT IS BACTERIA :-

WHAT IS BACTERIA:-
Bacteria are most widely distributed organism. These are unicellular microorganisms.
"LEEUWENHOK" discovered bacteria for the first time in 1677.Later "LOUIS PASTEUR" and "ROBERTKOCH" worked on them. This was a milestone in the history of biology.

SIZE:-
They range from "1um to 10um" in length.
They range from "0.2 um to 1um" in width and can be observed under microscope.

KINDS OF BACTERIA:-
(1)rounded bacteria called as "cocci".
(2)rod bacteria called "bacilli".
(3)spiral bacteria shaped called as "spirilla".
(4)comma bacteria shaped called "vibrious".

HABITAT OF BACTERIA:-
Bacteria are found every where;in water, in air, living and dead bodies of organisms, even in hot springs and glaciers.

SHAPES OF BACTERIA:-
(1)Rounded
(2)Polyhedral
(3)Tadpole
(4)rod like e.t.c

LUNG CANCER

INTRODUCTION TO CANCER:-

Cancer in a medical term called malignant neoplasm is a kind of diseases in which some particular or a group of cells show uncontrolled growth and they show division beyond the normal limits.

They cause invasion or intrusion and destruction of adjacent tissues of body , and they sometimes spread to all other places or locations of the body through lymph and blood.
These three prominent properties of cancers differentiate them from "benign tumors".Most cancers make a tumor in the body but some cancers like leukemia do not cause tumors. The branch of medicine or pharmacy concerned with the study of cancer diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of cancer is called "ONCOLOGY".

LUNG CANCER:-
Lung cancer is a type of disease which is caused due to uncontrolled unhandeled cell growth cell reproduction in tissues of the lungs of human body.
This unusual and unnecessary growth in the lungs may cause metastasis, which causes the movement of many tissue and infiltration beyond the lungs. Many Huge majority of primary cancers are called "carcinomas" of the lung, which came from epithelial cells of skin. Lung cancer is the most common and usuall cause of cancer-related death in men and women and this lungs cancer disease is responsible for about 1.3 million deaths worldwide in a year.

SYMPTOMS:-
The most common symptoms that are seen in lungs cancer are are shortness of breath, coughing (including coughing with blood), and weight loss.

TYPES:-
The main types of lung cancer are known as small cell lung carcinoma and non-small cell lung carcinoma. This difference between is important, because the treatment of different cancer varies.Non-small cell lung carcinoma abbreviated as NSCLC is normally treated with surgery but on the other hand small cell lung carcinoma abbreviated as SCLC is betterly treated with chemotherapy and radiation.

REASONS:-
The most common reason of lung cancer is longlife use to tobacco smoke. The presence of lung cancer in persons who do not smoke and they areas as many as 15% of cases is often attributed and due to a combination of genetic factors, genetic defects
radon gas, asbestos, and air pollution, including secondhand smoke causes it

BRAIN TUMOR

INTRODUCTION TO BRAIN:-

The brain is a soft, spongy mass of tissue. It is the main controlling organ of human body.As the brain is very delicate and sensitive part of body so it is protected by the bones of the skull and is present in protective cranium also called brain case and other three thin membranes known as meninges. Watery fluid called cerebrospinal fluid cushions the brain. This fluid flows through spaces between the meninges and through spaces within the brain called ventricles.

PARTS OF BRAIN:-
The brain has three parts.
(1)Fore Brain
(2)Hind Brain
(3)Mid Brain

The brain tumor disease is a kind of an abnormal(not normal) growth of cells within the most delicated part of the human body "The brain".This can be cancerous as well as non-cancerous.

It is defined or said as any intracranial(the whole brain) tumor which is been created by abnormal(un normal) and uncontrolled unhandled cell division(reproduction of cells), normally which is in the humans brain.Neurons, glial cells (astrocytes, oligodendrocytes, ependymal cells), lymphatic tissue, blood vessels), or in the cranial nerves or myelin-producing Schwann cells, in the brain which envelopes (meninges), skull.

Commonly,Primary brain tumors are commonly located ,present in the back side or posterior cranial side in the children and in the anterior two-thirds(2/3) is of the cerebral hemispheres in adults, eventhough they can affect any part of the human brain.

SYMPTOMS OF TUMOR:-
Symptoms of brain tumors may base on of the two factors that are
(1)tumor size or its volume or space occupying brain
(2)tumor location(where the tumor is present)

In small children which are under the age of 2 years, mostly near about 70% of brain tumors are medulloblastoma, ependymoma, and low-grade glioma. These tumors in the small childen under the age of 2years are dangerous for these small childrens.

TYPES OF CANCERS:-

Cancer is not only one single disease but many other diseases. Cancer has more than 100! types.
Most of them are named for the organ or type of cell in which they start to cause destruction such example is, cancer that begins in the colon is called colon cancer and cancer that begins in basal cells of the skin is called" basal cell carcinoma".
